Donations to Homes for Life come from a variety of venues. In addition to individuals and families, we also seek support from larger agencies such as foundations and corporate sponsors.
Foundation support is critical to the continued existence of HFLF. We apply for grants to help cover gaps in funding that smaller donations cannot cover, such as major renovation projects or upgrading computer systems.

HFLF has become a part of the local community in each of its sites across the county. As such, we reach out to businesses in surrounding areas for support and to foster stronger, healthier communities.
Planned giving is a way to ensure that your charitable contributions extend beyond the end of your life. When planning your legacies, we encourage you to not only remember your loved ones, but also others in your community who are desperately in need. Your legacy to Homes for Life Foundation can help ensure their futures. Gifts can be structured in a number of different ways to provide tax deductions for your estate or current income taxes, including direct gifts, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable lead trusts to Homes for Life Foundation. Homes for Life encourages donors to consult a tax professional or attorney when making donations of any planned gifts.

Special Events serve two purposes for HFLF – events provide public awareness for HFLF and provide much needed funds to support our housing and programs. Please join our future events (to be announced below) or host your own fundraiser for HFLF.
Many companies have matching gift programs that will match employee and/or retiree charitable contributions annually. If you are making a contribution to HFLF, ask your employer if they match employee donations. If your company does match employee/retiree gifts, please contact them to obtain a matching gift form. This small step in most cases will double your donation to HFLF.
Companies and employers have workplace giving campaigns where employees can designate a payroll deduction to support their charity of choice. If your employer has a workplace giving campaign, ask if you can donate to HFLF through this program.
If you want to support HFLF in honor of an occasion or a loved one, our tribute/memorial fundraising provides all the tools and support you need to instantly create a special giving fund in memory of a loved one, in honor of a special person, or “in lieu of a gift” celebration of a birthday, anniversary, wedding or special occasion.
Another great way you, your friends, family, co-workers, community groups or clubs can support HFLF is by holding your own fundraiser. These events might include auctions, golf tournaments, fun runs, school fundraisers, denim/casual days, penny drives, office fundraisers, trivia nights or any other fun idea you have. Are you participating in an endurance event or other challenge event? If so, you can support HFLF in the next 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, triathlon, cycling event, mud run, color run, etc. Click on our link below and create your own HFLF fundraising page, then email friends, family, co-workers, etc. and ask them to support your efforts on behalf of HFLF.
